ERW Steel Tube Mill Line, also called Steel Pipe Making Machine. It is widely used to produce steel tubes or pipes of round, square, rectangular and other shape.
The raw material will be Carbon steel sheet coils, Galvanized steel strip coil. From uncoiler to material storage, forming , welding, sizing mill, then pipes will be cut off to required length by cutting saw, then pipes will be unloaded and packed.
Each Parts Function of ERW Steel Pipe Making Machine:
1) Uncoiler: Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic type, it is used to support the raw material coil and feed materials to the production line.
2) Shearing and welding machine: pneumatic or hydraulic type, the function is to cut off the tail of former coil and head and next coil, so that machine can running without stop.
3) Material accumulator: Vertical cage type or horizontal spiral type, accumulator can store a certain amount of materials inside and keep feeding to the roll forming machine.
4) Forming and sizing mill: It consists of forming, welding, cooling and sizing part. It takes roll toolings to cold roll form steel sheets to welded to pipes. The main parts include feeding, leveling, horizontal stand, vertical set, seam guiding, welding/ extrusion, welding burr scraping, water cooling, machine speed measuring, straightening parts.
5) Cutting saw: Hot friction cutting or cold cutting type. The cold cutting saw takes servo motor and high precision control system, when pipes are cut off, the cutting ends will be smooth without burrs.
6) Pipe run out table: Punching unloading, pneumatic pushing unloading, motor driving turn over unloading type. After unloading, workers can collect pipes and make the package.
7) High frequency welder and appliances: It is the most advanced solid state type, it can melt the edges of strip and after extrusion it will become pipes.
8) Rollers /molds /roll toolings: It is special designed to roll form steel sheets into required sizes and shapes. The material is Cr12 or Cr12MoV, welding roller material is H13.
